Julián Durazo Herrmann, Université du Québec à Montréal

Julián Durazo Herrmann, is professor of Comparative Politics (the Americas) at Université du Québec à Montréal (Canada). He works on the challenges of democratic consolidation at the subnational level in Bahia (Brazil) and Veracruz (Mexico) in comparative perspective. His current project focuses on the role of the media in the construction of subnational public spheres.
